We wrapped up our Christmas weekend with a hike along the greenbelt yesterday afternoon. This particular stretch of trail doesn’t attract many cyclists so I get to relax and not worry about the boys running ahead or falling behind. All complaints about summer in Texas disappear on days like these.
It was still pitch black outside when Seamus woke up and asked if he could “please please please just go check if Santa had come.” He had. Next year, I’m going to stipulate on the cookie note that he should set up the coffee pot before coming to bed.
I met Amy and Kevin yesterday to take some prego pics. So frigging cute – they both grinned ear to ear the entire time. Can’t wait to see the smile on their little guy when he arrives! Brothers The grass was weeeeettttttt. Worth it though, I think!
